Vincent’s Hospital was established in 1922 by the Sisters of Charity.
Today it is the largest private hospital on the Downs with over 150
inpatients beds including maternity, paediatric, and Intensive Care
wards. A private Emergency Centre operates from the hospital as well as
an outpatient Day Surgery Unit. A new accommodation wing was opened late
2008 providing comfortable accommodation with ensuite facilities.
Dr Nagel performs endoscopy lists at this hospital Monday (alternate) and Wednesday mornings and
Thursday afternoons.

Andrew’s hospital was established in 1966 and currently operates 137
acute care inpatients beds. It is a non-for-profit private hospital and
a registered charity. In 2007/8 the Radiation/Oncology Centre was
completed and inpatient services are complemented by a private Renal
Dialysis Unit, a large General Practice and an outpatient Day Surgery
Unit.

alternate Monday mornings.
